A loozer is someone who has lost their wages on a horse running (or not running) at Cartmel on a dismal Tuesday afternoon in November. A woozer is New Zealand slang for saying wow….although, not quite strictly true as its wowzer – but wowzer didn’t rhyme! And in saying wow that is how I describe the glutinous amount of boozers the town of Witney has…
