As DMS taxis is a sole trader business this means that not dissimilar to most walks of life I cannot physically be in two places at once hence why I cannot ever state to be as other taxis businesses claim that they are a 24/7 outfit.
However, to offer a service which is run on true values my working hours do (thank you) allow me a little rest in between my hours spent on the road. This way the service I provide will be attentive, competitive and on time which is the vital ingredient to providing a service the client requires.
Why, the asterisk use?
The asterisk is for my business, an amazing tool, in me being able to add some added information to an already evolving service that my business can provide. So, let me try to explain in unadulterated language to why the asterisk is located on my business hours…..

DMS taxis of Witney offer a Monday to Friday 7am to 5 pm business hour opening that isn’t necessarily completely sacrosanct in what it states on the tin (in this case on the website)…and that’s all because of the singular usage given so cheaply from this wonderful little asterisk.
The technicalities of my business hours are slighty fragmented because of this tiny star like symbol. It serves its purpose well when trying to cut all my cloth accordingly…..

After the ‘so called finish’ of the website hours of business the mobile taxi line is still manned to a certain cut off point of any weekday evening so in the event of needing a taxi please still call the 07737 214 042 number if you need to book a cab for the said evening, the next day or just another perfect day and we will try our best to accommodate your enquiry/booking.
Nevertheless, there’s another thing that I’d like to say to clients (when calling) is that my number is quite obviously a mobile, and as everyone who already owns a handset beast should know there are one or two areas of our delightful county that unfortunately has a poorer reception than other parts of the county and I’d like to give anyone who’s maybe calling to book a cab and gets the wonderful DMS taxis automated message instead of an immediate answer a heads up and another old saying…that if this happens to you when you call (especially in day time hours) remember this old ditto- that if at first you don’t succeed (in getting through)…(to) try try try again-as when I do eventually get back to ‘planet earth’ your re-call will then touch wood get through to yours truly for you to discuss your requirements!
Weekend’s are usually by appointment only and this can be booked/discussed during the week(s) previous. And, as I mentioned earlier I’ve only the one set of keys and only to my humble knowledge just the one pair of hands the last time I looked and I’d love nothing more than being at not just two places at once but three or four if I could. Or five.
